Does this restaurant offer highchairs for toddlers? YesNoUnsure Reviewed January 26, 2020, Used to live in Naples many years ago and decided to revisit this place on a recent trip.
This place is also hard to spot from Tamiami Trial. Reviewed November 17, 2019, The grouper my father ordered was under-cooked, but the staff immediately replaced the order with a properly prepared serving.
Reviewed April 27, 2019, via mobile With all the “white cloth” dinner places where you pay for the environment you are eating, this is not that place. If... I lived closer Grouper Grille would be a weekly dinner for me.
Reviewed February 27, 2019, Unfortunately we only found this restaurant at the end of our vacation in Naples. The food was delicious, authentic and portions very generous.
The menu offered multiple selections which made it a difficult choice. We chose the Grilled Octopus Total, Menu do and a Seafood Soup.... The soups were made from scratch, the portions were more than generous, there was a bit of “heat” to the dishes, and we were fully satiated when we left.
We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious Mexican meal at reasonable prices. More We had fried oyster dinner which was very good & wine selection was reasonable.
Very good value, but go early as this restaurant is on the local’s list Reviewed February 10, 2018, This place looks like it just changed hands recently.
Traces of a Chinese or sushi takeout are visible. Reviewed January 28, 2018, via mobile Wish I could experience this meal on a daily basis.
I believe I found one of the best seafood places in Florida tonight. Going alone to any restaurant can be lonely, but at this one in particular I felt a friendly atmosphere and very welcomed...by the servers and other guests.

Reviewed 1 week ago I really don't understand the good ratings for this restaurant. I'll start off with the fact I am not a face mask fanatic but really, in a small inside seating area with tables very close together the staff and...owner are running around without masks yelling over to various tables with no concern to the health situations we all face.
As we walked in I noticed right away none of the employees, including the cooks, were wearing masks. It was enough to make me just turn around and leave but I really had my heart set on eating here.
The grouper was fried perfectly, nice and crispy with no oily or greasy texture. Fried the same way and served on a fresh bun with lettuce and tomato.
They had a dessert special of peanut butter pie which we tried and it was very good. Served in an Oreo cookie crust it was creamy and delicious.
The service was fine but nothing overly friendly or welcoming. They also sat a large party of 6 right next to us, literally a foot away.
They have posted a sign on the door, that essentially says that your personal freedom is your choice to wear a mask or...not and God bless America with an image of the American flag. More Reviewed 2 weeks ago This place is like a little secret on 41.
Reviewed November 12, 2020, via mobile Amazing small restaurant. !we had the zucchini, blackened grouper and clam chowder.
Reviewed September 26, 2020, via mobile I was working today cleaning offices and had no time for lunch. I knew i didn't want took cook as I would finish working around 6pm.
Fish not fresh and batter was thick and hard fried.... Restaurant very small, and we chose to eat outside as the waitresses did not wear masks to serve. But I understand it is not a requirement for this county.

Kitchen mistakes and inattention made this a less-than-memorable visit. Menu items were delivered with no resemblance to the listing.
Clams in white sauce served with oily, overcooked pasta. French fries with one dish tasted as though cooked in over used crankcase oil.
Maria tried to make up for the shortcomings of the kitchen staff, but it didn't help. We just hope she can find a better job in a nicer restaurant.
Servers were helpful & friendly; nice every-day menu. Food was fair -- my wife's crab cake tasted fishy; my grilled grouper was just OK.
The front door was propped open with a chair, making it somewhat uncomfortably breezy inside the restaurant. An empty car -- unlawfully parked for a very long time in the fire lane outside the front window --- added to the lack of ambiance.
(The car did not belong to anyone at the restaurant, but should have been towed.) We had hoped that Grouper Grille would be a “neighborhood gem,” but are sorry to say that it was not.
Great food and service were the last to dine for the night and the owner was very happy to have us. We all had the grilled grouper basket, and we all agreed it was fantastic. I cannot understand why Open Table is associated with this restaurant.
The food was awful, portions were skimpy, staff person was unhelpful and not friendly, service was poor, there is no ambiance, and the restaurant itself not well maintained. Three of us had seafood -- all dishes resembled something deep-fried from McDonald's (looked like 2 tater tots on half a hamburger bun).
My husband and I are always on the lookout for local restaurants with great, fresh food at reasonable prices, and we found all three at the Grouper Grille in Naples, Florida. Family owned and operated: husband is the cook and wife serves the food.
Tucked into a nondescript plaza...ambiance certainly left a lot to be desired...the staff tried, but really didn't seem to have experience. The grouper was good but the portions were too small,I was still hungry when I left and there was no dessert on the menu.
They cleared the table, and we had to ask for the check,I would not go back or recommend it. If you like fresh fish, Grouper Grill is the place for you.
Not fancy, but everyone in our group enjoyed fresh, delicious salads and fried fish. Their blackened grouper platter was a real hit with all who ordered it.
We had a wonderful family dinner in a very calm atmosphere. We went there for lunch and were really surprised at how great the food was. We had a fried shrimp and scallop basket as well as one with the addition of fried grouper (can't remember what it was called) and everything was really fresh and super tasty. The breading was really light, and we will definitely be back when in the mood for some good seafood.
Food arrived quickly and was very good. The wait staff on both visits attempted to begin clearing the table before all in our party had finished eating...and both times I warned them off.
No dessert, coffee not another beverage was suggested or offered. I felt a little as though we were an interruption in the work day.
Very casual restaurant in shopping center. Fresh seafood and a cheerful staff made Grouper Grille a pleasant spot for dinner.
Just wish\h that they would do fried oysters which are so plentiful and inexpensive in SW Florida Service was ok but the server reminded us several times that she was new.
But we were they only people in the restaurant and my dinner order was half wrong. Easy to find location, food not quite what we expected.
Didn't expect by the name to be such a small diner look, but the food was great! The conch fritters were amazing as was the Grouper /Scallop basket.
Every looked great and heard the chowder was good too. We stopped for lunch last week, and we're delighted to fine this new place to enjoy SW Florida best fish, grouper.
Quality food at very reasonable prices for Naples. Best fried grouper basket I have had in town and their sauces are made on site.
Seafood, Steakhouses, Cocktail bars, American, Caribbean, Dessert, Vegetarian options There are few things as Floridian as Key lime pie, but the search for the perfect grouper sandwich may be one of them.
There’s nothing better than a day at the beach followed by a perfectly fried or blackened slice of heaven on a bun. An excellent grouper sandwich is also a sign that everything else at the restaurant is probably tasty and fresh, too.
While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. We're focusing on these ridiculous grouper sandwiches, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu here.
