St. Johns River MULTI SPECIES” I use a video because some of us would like to watch a video and see what it looked like before we book our stay and drive to a location we have never been before, I will share the information with you about fishing near Jacksonville, Florida (Saint John River) Figuring out the right size (length) of paddle is surprisingly straightforward.

I came a cross a program about the local University of North Florida (UNF), they offer “Gear Check-out & Adventure Trips.” The students can use the gear for free, for example, kayaks, canoeing, and rock climbing.

The programs offered University of North Florida (UNF) allow students, staff and visitors to learn about team work in different environment. I went to Walmart, Black Creek sporting goods store, and REI co-op.

Many anglers plan ahead and incorporate best fishing practices using tips to ensure safe and responsible angling. Develop fishing skills to target the size and species you desire.

Change location, depth, or bait to avoid catching fish you do not intend to keep. Use appropriately sized gear that is targeted to the species you desire to catch.

Half day with CPT David The type of fishing we did was backwater with a depth from 3ft to 20ft. The sleepyhead have congregated in the St. Johns River and the inlet, and fishing for them will produce a tasty by catch of perfect-eating puppy drum.

In the backcountry, the redfish are beginning to school up, setting the stage for the stellar winter sight fishing we enjoy on the First Coast. Big seas and a stiff northeast wind between 10 and 15 knots through the weekend, which will confine fishing to protected waters.

Well said the trout bite in the main river has turned on as he expected, but he thinks the water temperature should be just right for them to fire off by the time the wind lays down. Ron Schulz said the trout bite has turned on in a major way in the intracoastal waterway, and the redfish are forming their winter schools back in the creeks.
