The website advertised Steaks, Seafood, Sushi & Oysters. We were disappointed after hearing from another table that it would take 1 1/5 hours for them to make the sushi.
It took 15 minutes for the waitress to stop by the table and bring a menu. The guys ended up going to the bar to order our own drinks.
Although the oysters on the 1/2 shell were good, a dozen oysters were served with just a tiny sliver of lemon and a dollop of ketchup. I requested additional lemons and tobacco from the waitress.
After 10 minutes I again requested lemons from the manager. It took more than 2 hours after we arrived at the restaurant to receive the bread and the under cooked steaks were finally delivered to the table 2 1/2 hours after arrival.
We are disappointed to hear that you're dining experience did not live up to your expectations. I want to apologize on behalf of the staff and management for your poor service.
We had 85 people book our event room and ordered off the regular menu and about 40 sushi rolls. This caused a backlog in both the kitchen and with the sushi chefs.
Fortunately we have taken to heart the mistakes that were made that night and have implemented policies to prevent this from happening in the future. If there is anything we can assist you with in the future please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

We just finished dinner at the Marina Bar & Grill. Chef Zoe put together a vegan salad for me and my wife enjoyed quesadilla.
Very cool little bar with good drinks and tasty food. Nice view of the marina on the patio and the decor inside is really cool.
Our assigned waitress completely ignored our table. Finally, after over an hour of patiently waiting, we ordered food from the hardworking and friendly bartender.
It was a real shame to have a memory like that on our last night. Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more.

I like the addition of the raw red onion and the house-made aioli on Paul's. Paul's has a great fresh seafood selection overall, and nice water views.

When my mom said that she was just running to the neighbor's and would be right back, I climbed onto the kitchen counter and found Lipton Instant French Onion Soup Mix. An old girlfriend from decades ago had a brother-in-law that was a CEO of a trucking company, and he used to entertain in Manhattan quite a bit ... and he started taking us along.
For a couple of years, Lori and I went out about 4-5 nights a week, but now we have a better balance of 50/50 between cooking at home, and going out to the amazing restaurants we are so lucky to have in our beloved Downtown St. Petersburg.
