Fast friendly service in a great local atmosphere. I would recommend Dockside Dave's to anyone looking for great seafood....
Although I am just a visitor & not a local, I am looking forward to coming back to this fun & friendly place to eat. The menu had many great choices & everything we ordered tasted amazing.
We stop to eat there as soon as we get to town, even before we check in our hotel. Claim your listing for free to respond to reviews, update your profile and much more.

This is a great place to go for outdoor seating and the best fried grouper sandwich. The service is kind of slow but it was worth the wait.
Ask Lisa B about mad beach fish house We had the fried lobster bites, which were excellent, as well as a very tasty Clam Chowder.
We both had the Surf and Turf burgers, which have lobster and shrimp on them, then lots of cheese. Nice to sit outside overlooking the boats and the Inter coastal.

Menu has a full run of seafood, combination plates, dinners, lunch sized portions, whatever you would like. They brag about their grouper, and sure didn't disappoint. Offered in fried batter, blackened, grilled, you name it, the grouper was outstanding and approved by all the guests present. Menu is the same lunch and dinner, with no size or cost change.
Atmosphere is definitely beach theme, but you can choose outside on a deck or inside in the A/C. Service was very good, friendly and upbeat. Not a bargain eatery, but the few empty seats all day long tell the shortfall bar, no music when I was there.
We really appreciated the waitress warning us that their blackening was really spicy (the way I like it). My wife decided to go another route since she isn’t as tolerant of “heat” as I am.
Ambiance was very much what one expects to see for a local place across the street from the beach. If you are looking for a fun place with great food, then you will enjoy Dockside Dave’s.
We stopped by Dockside Dave's for the first time in almost 20 years. Dropped one bubble as we found the bill a little high ($42 USD for two grouper sandwiches, one coleslaw and 2 draft beers), although I'm not familiar with fresh grouper prices these days.

Lightly breaded large shrimp and the large sea scallops were almost a religious experience. We sat at the bar because no other seating was available, but we were very comfortable.
I had Grouper Bites and sliced fresh tomatoes. Husband had BBQ shrimp and the biggest, most delicious plate of onion rings I’ve ever seen.
