Lot Polish Airlines 787 Dreamliner Business Class Review

The ground service for the outbound flight was pretty remarkable, however. In spite of the fact that my flight to Moscow was on a small Embraer 175, I traveled to the plane via dedicated van transfer—I was the only business class passenger. In bigger airports, there will be a queue at the security check /immigration anyway – no matter when you leave an aircraft (there’s an arrival every 2-5 minutes, so go figure). So, in reality, you really don’t save that much time. My personal amenity kitThe average business class amenity kit contains socks, earplugs, a moisturizer, a toothbrush, a sleeping mask, and often a little Eau de toilett by some sponsoring premium brand.

They usually come with cozy blankets and cushions, and some airlines even provide a mattress to go underneath. Around 20 minutes before landing at Warsaw Chopin airport the captain made an unexpected announcement. Due to very heavy fog in Warsaw the Chopin airport was closed for all arrivals due to low visibility 3 to 5 business days and we were to land in Poznan instead. It was actually quite hard to hear what he said so the purser had to repeat the message and then pass through the cabin to make sure all passengers had understood what was to happen. At that point they had very little information about what would happen after landing.

Even so, LOT uses the Swissport lounge for its flight. But I can’t say that there was anything that would bring me back to LOT, if given a choice. My other Star Alliance airline experiences to/from Europe have been much more enjoyable.

Many airlines never pay attention this small detail which is very IMPORTANT in today flying World. LOT POLISH Business Class seats are already very good if not better. I did few flights with LOT to Tokio and NY and really like the experience, especially the flat bed and food/drink service. LOT uses standard full-flat seats arranged in a “2-2-2” configuration. As such, not all seats offer direct aisle access, and they lack a bit in privacy. Warsaw airport.Since I already had the boarding pass for this flight, I headed straight through security.

This is really wonderful as sometimes you want to go to bed early, etc. The flights between Scandinavia, the Baltics and Warsaw are operated by LOT in cooperation with Nordica, the national airline of Estonia. LOT and Nordica are in many aspects the same airline. This means that you could either baker business center get Polish flight attendants on the flight, Estonian flight attendants, or a mix. I had a larger rollaway and was asked at the gate to leave it by the aircraft stairs. I was prepared for this and really did not mind as you get it back by the aircraft stairs again straight after landing.

LOT serves Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve, which I wasn’t familiar with, but it tasted just fine. 4E and F were still empty, though, so I snapped a picture of those two seats — they’re on the starboard side of the next business day plane, but they’re otherwise identical to where I was sitting. Since my neighbor had already made herself at home by the time I boarded, I wasn’t able to snap a picture that included both my seat, 4A, and 4B.

There is no guarantee that LOT Polish Airlines flight will arrive on time because it meets 3-Star Airline quality standards for both its airport and onboard services. Product ratings such as seat quality, amenities, food and beverages, cabin staff and ground staff are all factors in 3-Star Airline standards. Before I went on this trip, I’ve booked another award ticket on LOT to Budapest with 75,000 United MileagePlus miles for one-way in business class.
